Van Cleef & Arpels Beverly Hills Boutique
An ambitious endeavor to digitally recreate the newly revamped physical space of their Rodeo Drive boutique in Beverly Hills Visit website.
This project was completed during my tenure as a Senior Software Engineer at Inspify Pte Ltd. While I played a significant role in its development, full ownership and rights belong to Inspify Pte Ltd.

My Role
In my role as a frontend developer, I was responsible for converting photos, assets, and products into an immersive virtual store, using INSPIFY Inverse. My technical arsenal for this project included HTML/CSS, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Redux, and React Query.
Challenge
The primary challenge lay in the boutique's complexity, featuring a multitude of products and spanning multiple floors. Ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly experience was paramount, given the intricate layout and vast product range of the physical boutique.
Consistent with the INSPIFY Inverse standard, I incorporated a remote control functionality, allowing clients to guide their customers through the virtual boutique in a controlled, personalized manner.
Achievement
The Van Cleef & Arpels Virtual Boutique emerged as a significant solution during the COVID-19 pandemic. With many people hesitant to venture outside for shopping, the virtual boutique offered a safe and immersive alternative, mirroring the experience of a physical visit. This innovation not only enhanced the brand's value but also adapted to the new consumer needs during the pandemic.
The success of this project solidified our company's relationship with Van Cleef & Arpels. Our ability to deliver on such a complex and innovative project led to additional assignments from the luxury brand to create virtual experiences for their other boutiques. This repeat business was a clear indicator of their trust and satisfaction with our work, marking a significant milestone in our company's journey in the realm of virtual retail experiences.
